Google UK: July update in progress?

Barry gives some great coverage of reported problems with Google UK starting in July.
We’ve barely had time to recover from some weird instabilities introduced in June, but it seems there’s more rolling out.
Key concerns are that Google is struggling with UK geotargeting, especially confusing the UK and, um, Australia.
