Digital Content Exchange Launched

by Jan Harris

Computers & Internet

Digital TX Limited is launching a new global business program for the exchange and distribution of digital content, called DMEX, or Digital Media Exchange.

DMEX aims to help sellers of digital content find platform operators who would like to licence it. It also aims to help operators find content for their digital services.

DMEX collects content from live TV and radio channels, movies, TV on-demand, music, games, user-generated content and a number of other sources, from over 150 countries.

The DMEX database is currently growing by 23% a month and is available via private IP transit, satellite, fiber, FTP, Digibeta, Hard Drive, CD/DVD, or any other preferred method.

The service uniquely focuses on providing a market for “Long Tail” content – niche content which may not fit mainstream distribution models. It also provides skilled, technical support services for delivering it such as digitisation and playout.

More information is available at www.dmexgateway.com.
