Everything changes now on InternetBusiness.co.uk

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thank you for visiting!

For the past 5 years I’ve been providing help for business online.

I work with small businesses you have never heard of - I work with massive corporations whose brands you walk past routinely on the high street.

I’ve been interviewed by national media, national press, and spoken at international conferences.

While my speciality is predominantly SEO - actually, link development - being a webmaster and webpublisher, and working with a wide number of business requirements, has resulted in a very wide base of knowledge and experience.

It’s time to start putting all this into writing.

I’ve previously tried to avoid blogging.

It’s a time sink and my work schedule is punishing. Plus why the hell would I want to put cutting edge stuff online when I can enjoy building competitive advantage, and keep it to myself?

But from now on, all that changes.

I built Platinax, committed less and less to it over time, then spent £8k buying InternetBusiness.co.uk - a domain with a potentially very strong future.

But that future will not happen unless I share - communicate - describe my thoughts online with what’s happening.

There are many changes to come - it’s time to start with these.

My business interests are diverse - I think everybody’s should be, to ensure they understand the wider context that their business operates.

Some things I post may seem niche, general, of little interest.

But I can assure you that they are anything but - everything I post here will be expert commentary, insider knowledge, and coverage of events that will impact every business in the UK in some way at some point.

Everything published before now is well-meaning junk. I’m tempted to delete the whole damn lot of it and start again.

But - content has its own premium. It would be simply wasteful to destroy that value.

From now on, pay attention. I’m about to get serious.

Brian there is no doubt of your skills, and I think your 8k investment in the domain alone speaks volumes. Hopefully a stronger and larger community can be built as well as more readers and potential clients for yourself. Regards, Chris

Thanks for the comments, Chris - made a few posts over the past 48 hours which should make for decent reading. :)

Brain, I’d appreciate if you install the “Full Feed” Wordpress plugin as I can’t read all the content of your articles via RSS.

Apologies for that, Rajab - I’ve now set the default WP settings to full feed.

    Does that help?
