PMC Telecom offers headset repair service
by Brian Turner
PMC Telecom has announced a headset repairs and buybacks service for telecoms and phone systems. The service should appeal to any business with a significant number of phone handsets or headsets, especially call centres, where replacing broken or damaged equipment can result in big costs.
The repairs include fixing damaged parts, as well as replacing missing or faulty ones, not least ear-cushions and voicetubes for headsets. Video and audio conferencing equipment can also be fixed or replaced.
Additionally, PMC Telecom will also offer to buy back telecoms equipment if a business is seeking to upgrade its existing systems, saving both time as well as money.
PMC Telecom said, “Our buyback service for system handsets can help to recycle and reuse unwanted handsets, while giving you money to upgrade your existing systems.
“Although businesses constantly need to upgrade, here at PMC Telecom we are saddened to see wasted equipment and that’s why we offer a full audio and video conference phone buyback service, giving you money towards your planned upgrades, paid directly to your account via BACS within 5 working days”
Currently businesses throw out nearly £2 billion of electronics and IT equipment out every year. While much is covered under the EU’s WEEE scheme, there is still an underlying cost for businesses to recycle older electronics equipment.
