New IPTV news via IPTV-Anchor.com

by Jan Harris

IPTV

A new IPTV news hubhttp://iptv-anchor.com – allows anyone to distribute news captured on their cell phone or digital camera. The content can then be viewed by anyone with an internet connection and a recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Firefox web browser.

Previously, world news has been presented from a few corporate news networks and syndicated press. Iptv-anchor.com is a true social news site for the lay-person.

Users of the site can comment and discuss news clips and compare news captured by members of the general public to news stories provided by the corporate networks.

News submissions can be audio only, audio/video, or text only. The stories can be submitted within several categories such as local news, political opinion or sports.

The site allows registered users to use videos they have uploaded to internet TV video website such as YouTube, Google Video, VEOH, and Meta Cafe. When the video has been uploaded to one of these sites, the user can then go to IPTV-anchor.com to write up a synopsis and link it to their video.

Stories without video can be written up directly in to IPTV-anchor.com and links can be added to photos via flickr.

There is also a sister-site, http://iptv-coverage.com, for IPTV industry professionals on the service provider and manufacturing side, where press releases on IPTV developments can be posted.
