Google Universal sees wider roll out?

Jacob Wolfsheimer makes a startling observation - of Google Universal results being more integrated into certain targeted keyword searches.

You can see thumbnails of his observations below:

The keyword searches used to trigger these were “Madonna” and “Clay Aiken”

This harks too quickly to my post last week - Google was a links driven search engine - not least the speculation that natural results could be pushed down in Google by traffic-driven results from various media used for Google Universal.

If anyone has any publishing services in development to take special advantage of Google Universal, such as video, news, maps, or images, the warning is that it’s now nearly a year since Google introduced universal - and you can bet the opportunities it presents will be fast diminishing.
