Japanese Kenzero porn Trojan returns
by Jan Harris
The Japanese Kenzero porn Trojan, also known as the ‘Blackmail Virus’ has made a comeback.
The virus threatens to publish an internet user’s web browsing history on a website, unless they pay £10, so it should only bother people who have visited sites they’d rather other people didn’t know about.
The virus is downloaded via a sexually explicit Japanese anime program downloaded illegally from the Winni file-sharing service.
Although this virus won’t affect most computer users, it should serve as a warning to be careful to only use websites that you know you can trust, and to make sure that anti-virus and firewall software is installed and up to date.
